Non-Medical Respite Housing Program

After a hospital or rehab stay, many individuals benefit from a safe and stable place to stay before returning to independent living. Prestige Healthcare Resources' nonmedical Respite Housing program offers that stepping stone for those transitioning from hospital or rehab to independent living.

 

We provide a secure environment for rest and access to mental health and related services as needed, including assistance with addiction and other acute behavioral issues. Prestige Healthcare Resources tailors care and services to each individual's needs, as determined by our trained staff.

Our staff is on-site 24 hours a day for our enrollees.

​Admission Criteria:

  • Washington, D.C. resident

  • Over 18 years old

  • Negative TB and COVID-19 test

  • At risk of recurrent hospitalizations  

  • No recent violent history

  • History of recurrent hospitalization or emergency department use
